Holster Pattern Ideas

Guys, I picked up this really neat Colt 44-40. Now I need to make a nice holster for it. If any of you would like to post some pics of rigs I would certainly appreciate it. I would like to see some patterns to kind of give me an idea of how I will proceed.

Take a look at Will Ghormley's patterns ,,, I have use several and they were all excellent ... even to including a laundry list of tools needed to complete the projects:

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

I had forgotten that I had a pic of this Will Ghormley Holster .... my friend was 'given' this non-operating 4 3/4 " 1883 Colt ... cost him a lot of money, but he got it going again ....

So I made him a holster based on one of Will Ghormley's Johnny Ringo rig .... and here is the pic:



Did I mention that he is a lefty?

BTW, the belt is not from any pattern ....
