Howdy folks!

I am looking to get a custom rig made for my Cimmaron Man with No Name (7.5 inch barrel) and Richard Mason (5.5 inch barrel)  both in 38 Special.  I like to have my rigs set up with on strong side and one cross draw. I would like this rig to have a Native American frontier feel to it. Maybe some light bead work on it. I would also like to have a matching knife sheath for my small bowie included in my rig. Any leather makers mking these kind of rigs? I would like these rig to fit the reconstruction time frame of the frontier. Let me know what you guys think of this idea and who could possibly. Make this rig for me. Thanks for the help.

Chuck Burrows is the holster maker that also specializes in bead work. http://www.wrtcleather.com/

Randy Church does a lot of bead work but not sure if he makes holsters.

Thanks for the nod but I don't do holsters...not yet anyway, just a couple of Slim Jims for my old stuff...maybe soon....
Wow, my rusty/crustys mentioned in the same post as Chucks by an awesome maker Cliff, now that's an honor!!!.....Randy

Thanks for the advice. I just bought a bowie and ordered two hawks from Randy. I would love to have a fulll rig from him, then again I don't want to over load him with work  ;D

An alternate thought would be a Blondie style rig.  There are several makers doing the old Hollyweird recreations of these rigs around.  Good luck with your search.

I thought about going with a Blondie rig but I'm not sure I want to wait 2-3 months for a rig that is in "mass production." If I have to wait that long I want a unique custom rig.

I have started talking things over with Randy and I might be able to convince him to make this rig for me. I just need him to win the lottery and quit his real job so he can focus on making awesome custom gear.  :D

Probably the ultimate unique rig is a skeleton holster ... just be sure that if you wish to compete with it, that it is legal with your club ...

An option - if you want to have Randy do the deco I can make the basic holsters for him -  talk it over and see what he thinks...or I can match holsters to anything that Randy makes in the way of sheaths.........
