THe Milspec weapons, in order of finish

Marksman
-Krag Carbine, New Service Revolver.
-Krag Rifle, New Army & Navy Revolver.
-Mosin-Nagant Rifle, Nagant Revolver.

Rifleman
-Trapdoor Rifle .45-70, Schofield revolver.
-Martini-Henry Rifle, Webley WG
-Rolling Block Rifle .50-70, Richards Conversion Revolver.

EEM
-03 rifle, 1911.
-Mosin-Nagant rifle, Nagant revolver
-03 rifle, 1911.

One man shot the EEM with only a 1911.  Pretty fast time, until he ran out of magazines!  We would pick up dropped rounds and stuff them in dropped magazines as fast as we could!

Our Militiaman was using a Marlin .30-30, with our Scout working the lever of a Winchester 92, .44 Extra Long.

Seen on the line also were a Ross, a Vetterli, a Colt 1878, and a 1917 rifle.  Most numerous were the Trapdoor Springfields, with Krags next. Demonstrated for others were the Nagant revolver and a Mauser c96.  Our Russian representative shot the whole match with the bayonet fixed, as thats how the sights are regulated.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

A couple of minor corrections:
The Rifleman winner used a Schofield not a SAA
And there was a Staff officer in the EEM Who used an 1911

I think hte Stu used a Rossi 92 in .44mag and a Ruger single action of the same caliber.

That seems right to me also.

Another slight correction - the revolver used in conjunction with the Martini-Henry rifle in Rifleman class was a Webley WG Army Model .....  both firearms were fired with cartridges loaded with the Holy Black, of course!

(Thank you for not mentioning that the Canadian Ross rifle lived up to its reputation so that the ill-advised individual using it came in dead last in the EEM ....  ::)   ;)   )

But Jack, you did score well in style points just bringing it and shooting it.  And at least you didn't assemble the bolt wrong. :o

Not to mention points scored for the period correct curses he heaped upon it!

More mags have been purchased and the ones he had that weren't functioning have been repaired, however; I believe a couple more will still be needed. Oh, and thanks for all the help! ;)
