Bill, Just watched Kansas Moon, really enjoyed it, very well made. The best part, right after the fight at the camp, you are on a ridge on your little horse, the horse is pawing the ground. Glad you put that in, it's really good. Think every one will like the movie. Thank you for making this movie. Tj
Also like the hunting scene will you show the Masonic canteen, Then John and Dave speak of the man as a brother. Tj

Received mine and have watched it twice so far. It is excellent. Everything about it is top notch especially the attention to detail. It's an extra bonus to watch a movie with people you know in it.

Thanks Bill.

The link that Bill posted above (http://www.perfecthatproductions.com) gives a pretty good synopsis.

""Kansas Moon, The Last Hunt", is a film set in the west (Texas and Kansas) in the years 1871, 1872. The title is "Kansas Moon, The Last Hunt". Kansas Moon is based on an actual incident that took place between the grandfather of a Comanche Indian family and a small group of Pawnee. The film shows the conflict between the Native American and buffalo hunters, as well as the grandfather who has set out on a quest to avenge the killing of his family by the Pawnee."

Just finished the fourth viewing.  Brings tears to my eyes.

OCB,

I am really looking forward to your movie ...

I usually just keep the E Westerns going whenever I am home, but if I have to watch another Zapata flick I think I am going to scream or perhaps just change the channel.

Especially the Yul Brynner one where he primarily uses the lever action shortened Harmonica gun against Maximillian's troops ... and of course all the good guys are carrying and firing some kind of 1883-plus Colt.

So PLEASE send the movie! *S*

Jim Gray aka the Kansas Cowboy and one of the stars of our film, Kansas Moon The Last Hunt, and fellow NCOWS member was featured in the Aug/Sept issue of The American Cowboy magazine. Below is a photo of Jim in the magazine. For you that have not read Jim's book Desperate Seed, I would suggest that you look into it....You can find out more information on Jim's book on my web page http://www.perfecthatproductions.com. Jim is the real thing.

Got the video today and watched it immediately. Could have used some narrative, but I'm impressed overall. It's a keeper. Good to see Jeff Havert again. It's been a while since he was Blackfish at Ft Boonesborro.

Hi,
I watched the movie and liked it.  What kind of rifles were being used to shoot the buffalo?

Regards

Trap

The rifles are/were Remington rolling blocks. Those of us who were in it are probably the most critical of it, but I'll tell you it was alot of fun , and it is sure better than the Blair witch movie (whatever) which became a cult hit.    jt
