There have probably been a number of cowboys who would have liked a couple of those drink holders. Nice rig.

This set of bags has been treated with neats foot oil and then with Skidmores Creme with beeswax. My main question is, is this sufficient for outdoor use or should i seal the leather and then use the Skidmores?

Besides Skidmores cream Skidmore sells a Bees Wax water proofing that is designed for items that will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.  Give them a call I am sure they will tell you that it will work for your application.
