It's called the AF2011.  It's a double barreled 1911 type auto-pistol in caliber 45 acp.  It's got 2 barrels, side by side, dual magazine wells and with one drop of it's wide hammer it sends two rounds of 45 acp down range at the same time!   :o
It's made by a company called Arsenal Firearms, (I think it's in Italy), and they have a web site up just for the AF2011 with videos of the gun being shot.  Check it out Pards.  What do you think?

Wierdest thing I've seen since the Chiappa Rhino.   ::) ;) 8)

Why?  What purpose does it serve?

Hell, Forty Rod...  I don't know.  I didn't invent the thing.  They say the two rounds will hit within 2 inches of each other at 15 to 25 yards.  Is hitting a man with two 45 caliber slugs at once twice as good as hitting him with one?  Two fully loaded 8 round mags gives you 16 rounds on board.  Two in the chambers and you have 18 on board.  A fully loaded Para P-14 with one up the pipe gives you 15 at the ready.  Personally, I think I'd rather be totin' the Para P-14.   ::)   And the SXS 1911 is much fatter and weighs quite bit more than a P-14 too.  I really don't think they're going to sell a whole lot of these things.  I suspect some guys will buy them just for the novelty of it.    :-\

Even fully loaded you're still only gonna fire the thing 9 times before it runs dry.  With the P-14 you'll fire it 15 times before it runs dry.   Don't seem to make much sense, do it?

I want to see how ANYBODY can carry that thing comfortably.....or for more laughs and giggles, CONCEALED!

Personally, I'd rather have a 1911 with a half dozen 8 round mags.

I've heard that there is no such thing as a stupid question, but if this is the answer....?  Well, just sayin'.

The novelty factor is enough for me to want to own one. I have been collecting firearms for over 20 years now, one thing I have learned it there is very little practical factor in my deciding on what I purchase. I own a 8 gauge blunderbuss, it serves very little practical application outside the WOW  ;D factor.
