Oh you sound like Danny, he didn't think I'd get out of that canyon with my 2WD, ok, it took me two tries but I had no weight in the back, it was all up to camp. ;D  I bet The General would walk it right up there.

Well.....Back in my younger years, I used to yake my 2wd truck a lot of places, both by itself and pulling trailers.

But nowadays, I don't like that sometimes long walk back to the house to get a tractor.

But there was that one time, I had to unhook the trailer, still took several tries to get the truck out of the valley, and drive 20 miles away to get Dad's 4X4.....

I had an amazing time. This was the most fun I have ever had in any shooting related activity! Many thanks to Jerry and Dale for all their hard workin getting this together! Major thanks to Del for keeping us so well fed.

I have posted all the photos and videos I took to Photobucket at photobucket.com/GAF1

Quoting the great Ray Stevens )and in reference to the last two photos):  "Ethel, you put yore clothes on! Ethel, you brazen hussy!!!

Right good pictures, Del.  Looks like fun despite the weather.
People like me are the reason people like you have the right to bitch about people like me.

Generals don't do manual labor.  We find a colonel, who finds a major, who finds a captain, who finds a lieutenant, who finds a sergeant, who details some troops to do the job.

Having been a sergeant in the Corps a long time ago, I know better than to find a colonel - I just go direct to the sergeant.

No not you, Salt Crick Rick has named my old 1990 F-150 "The General"  he is much kinder than River City John who calls it "The Rolling Death Trap" at least my Lakota friend says it makes him homesick for the Pine Ridge when he rides in it. ;)

Del, I think the General (US Scout, not the p/u) is suggesting that maybe it's time to find a younger pickup (maybe something that's only 19 or 20) and name it The Private.  ::) Over time maybe SCR will promote it to General too.  :)

BTW, I love the smell of coffee in the morning too but maybe you could find a picture to use with that caption in which the subject matter has longer hair, less facial hair, is younger, oh, and only has X chromosomes ;D
