I'm Back! Fer a spell, that is...

Howdy all! As many of you know I have been away fer quite a spell. Now I'm back fer a spell, but it ain't all sweetness 'n light.

The economy has been tough on the old bank account, an' because of it I ain't shot a cowboy match for nearly 2 years. Were I to shoot a match tomorrow, y'all would probably have to remind me which end o' my shooters ta hold, and which end ta point.

I'm comin' back ta thin out my CAS shooters an' gear. I plan to keep my core stuff (2 pistolas, 2 rifles, and a shotgun), and enough leather 'n such to fit me out for a match. But, sadly, the rest has gotta go.

This ain't the time nor the place ta list what I'm sellin', so I won't. But if'n yer lookin' fer somethin' special, or jest love ta window-shop, c'mon over to the Classifieds 'n see what I got. It ain't a fire sale so I ain't cheap. But, as the sayin' goes, I can be had!

Would also love ta hear from nearly all of ya, if'n ya got time.

I only wish that times had not taken me so far away. But then again, if wishes were fishes, we'd have food for a lifetime. As you may notice however, my time away from here has resulted in a few bits of growth/change.

Times are sure tough. My brother in law got laid off after about 15 yrs at a job. NO notice no severance pack...just thanks and good by. And if that isn't bad enough, his wife is in the hospital.

My sister got laid off from a job managing a gift shop at a major hospital. she had been there for 10yrs. (and her boss got laid off the same day and she had been there for over 30yrs.

My wifes kids are both barely floatin head above water.....So we understand.

My thoughts and prayers are with ya and if I can do anything to bouy yer spirits, give me a holler.

Me and 4Trod were just talkin about you today...

Obamanomics. My hours are cut back to where I'm working only 6 or 8 hours a week. Credit cards are maxed out. Don't know how I'm gonna keep paying the bills. I told them at work I might have to go into buisness for myself. I have a ski mask and a gun. Even if I'm caught I'll still get 3 hots and a cot.

You just don't want Bubba the butt pirate as your cellmate. Fella at work did a couple years for aggravated assault. Said it was brutal inside.
