After much searching I found a Taylor carbine in 56-50.  It arrived last week.  Looks great.  Now for the loading of rounds; smokeless at first I think and black powder later.  Then shooting and modifications as/if necessary.  I have been pouring over all the great information posted by SSS members since I joined the SSS about two weeks ago.  Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences and information.

Make sure you visit the SORI Thread on SSS.  The information found there should answer any reloading questions you may have ::) ::)

Thanks Two Flints.  I have learned a lot from the SORI thread.
