Well, we are here at the summer solstice at about 4 pm PDT today. 

Not sure what it means but we are calling this month Junuary here in British Columbia.  The Fraser river looks like a 50 year flood is coming.(Already at a 40 year record at Vancouver!)  Wildfires in beetle-killed pines seem rampant in the US mountain states. heatwaves over most of EASTERN to central N. America.  Delmonico has to cover his veggie patch with straw to keep the lettuce from burning up.

Currently 51 degrees and set to go to 63 this afternoon.    The crude price is down to #83USD but pump prices are stuck on HIGH!!!!

Yes, by the litre.  For US Gallons think appx. 4 li. = 1 gal.  Our dollar is about .97 US

Gas prices just dropped 21 cents in the last two days.  A Gas-War just recommenced.

Maybe the world won;t end; - soon!
