I've got a Coyote Cap 1887 that I'm buying from a local pard and I started preparing and loading some shells.  I ordered some fiber wads and cards and put together this little "how-to" on my blog.  I show the modification to the MEC as well as a couple of jigs.

Excellent post and very helpful.  Some really great ideas.  Thank you!

What kind of blade do you use on your chop saw to get decent edges when you trim the cases?

DJ, thanks
It's a standard 60 tooth carbide tipped blade.  The key is to go slow so you don't rip the case out of the jig.

The bench top band saw does a great job of trimming hulls for me.  Since I use a roll crimp, I don't need to modify my MEC 600 Jr. Mk-V loader.
