Well Captain, if you can only have one, that looks like a nice one to have.  8)

Howdy folks here is a photo of my Beretta Stampede sporting my family brand used in Mexico in the late 1800s.

El Coyote, that is a beautiful stampede and the grips are beyond words.  Makes me cringe at the idea of posting mine.

Not sure there'd be any money in it, at least not the way I went about it!   ;D

Note the "excessive amounts of time" part ..... did things like cutting and fitting the finger-jointed corners entirely by hand with a little "gentleman's saw"  .....

:-\    ::)

Wellsir, if my wife'd not kill me TOO quickly for spending money on "another gun box," I could assure you I'd be more than willing to shell out a few bucks for one!

My jaw hit the floor when I saw that...  And as I WILL be going with some Uberti SAA clones for my SASS match pair...  I'd need something right purdy to carry them in, now wouldn't I?

...

Then again, my da IS a wood worker...  Weekend Father/Son Project?  I should look into it...

Still, where'd you get that top bit, with the instructions and whatnot?  I particularly like the "Take it to Pieces" bit!

Yes, such a project is best done as a personal "labour of love" -

The label is one of many reproduced in the United Kingdom - very high quality on parchment-type paper.  They are not cheap (£15.00 and up from the primary British supplier I know of - Peter Dyson &Son Ltd.) but there is no need to order them from across the pond, because Dixie Gun Works also carries many of them, including the various "London Agency" Colt labels such as the one I used in my case - http://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?products_id=10954
DGW's price (US$22.50) is pretty much on par with the UK price.  To see what else DGW carries in this line, just type in "trade label" in their website search engine.

Another Colt label they offer is one for percussion revolvers - which of course are very nice when cased, as well -

(The quality is much better than it might seem from this photo, which is just an enlarged version of the small low-resolution image on the DGW website.)

Beside my Colt SAA .45 I have this Western Marshal from Sauer & Sohn in Germany, import by Hawes Firearms Co in Los Angeles, Ca. Caliber is 38/357.  Next I have an Uberti Lever Action Yellow Boy in .38 Sp.

<SNIP>

Sir, I thank you most kind!  I do believe it'll end up being a project my father and I tackle this summer, along with my gun cart (Shaped like a cross-I mean, Six Gun Saint, just seemed a natural fit!)!  May can even get my brother and his son in on the bit-already trying to get them involved in the sport!
