Thanks to all who fought, suffered, and fell on The Longest Day.
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Your obedient servant,
Trailrider,
Bvt. Lt. Col. Commanding,
Southern District

The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.

Major 2

Two of my Uncles served that day....Uncle Luke was in the field artillery and went ashore on D-day+ 4.
Uncle Herbert was a Coastie aboard ship running supplies & receiving wounded....

both are gone now fading with the Greatest generation.
when planets align...do the deal !
