I thought it would be nice to post your pics of holsters you made by Will's patterns.  It would be nice for us to show them so he knows we appreciate his patterns.
So if you have done some of his holsters post pic's please.

Hi,

A friend of mine literally fell into a 5 1/2" Barreled 1883 Colt ... and after having it repaired was a little low of funds ... so I had the Johnny Ringo rig pattern from another project, and here is the holster I made for him ... the belt is from El Paso Saddlery; the buckle et al is from Tandy ...

Finally, I 'modified' Will's Johnny Ringo rig for a set of Schofields, changing it to a double strong-side rig ... and while I was at it, I added 6" to the pattern to make it a 3" drop ,... Then I copied  the belt to make a shotgun cartridge belt for SASS shoots:

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

I made these bags from one of Will's patterns, thanks Will..!! I modified them quite a ways, and made them smaller, but the pattern sure gave me a good place to start. This is the patten he sells with the holster on the bag, but the lady didn't need the holster. :-\

You know fellas, it's little gestures like this that make it all worth while.  The thing I like about patterns is it's a starting point.  Each individual can start with the pattern and make it their own in some way that makes sense to them.  In the big scheme of eternity, my patterns don't matter a hoot, but it's gratifying to know the effort is appreciated.

Thank you all!

Will, I have now made 15 holsters, each has been a direct or altered holster that began with one of your patterns ... Had your patterns not have been of such great design, I most likely would never have been able to begin this wonderful (for me) hobby.  Many thanks.

Will,
Your patterns mean a great deal to us. Like you said they can be a good starting point for a body to modify according to their needs, or they can be used as is for a good historically accurate piece or movie reproduction. I have all of your patterns with the exception of the latest releases, i.e. Duke, flames of hell and 1911. Your patterns are the best out there for the beginner to the most advanced leatherworker.
My monikor comes from my family's former ranch Santa Cruz Farms located outside Eloy, Arizona. The Santa Cruz river runs through the land.

Will, I have the belt patterns, cartridge, money belt, and love them. I've used them as the basis for a lot of my belts. I try to stick to the pattern, but, I always seem to go off on a tangent. You are an artist and I just can't bring myself to try to 'copy' your style. Keep it up, we have needed your brand of creativity available for a long time!

JD, that is a nice version of the Flames of Hell.  I think that is a pretty cool design.  I was taken aback when I read Will's character explanation of the it being the kind of cheap and gaudy holster a guy like Charley would buy, being all surface.  Of course Ben Foster gave the character more depth as he turned out.

Can't wait till the canoe pattern comes out ;D You still have pics of it on your site?
Bunch a ole scudders!

I think so Rick.  My website is falling into disrepair because I dislike workin' on the computer and have so many other things to attend to.  But, the canoe should be there.

Ah that's just the high standards speaking.   ;)  I go there often, and it is very helpful.

Will,

I am sure that both my products were not the end result that you had started out to design.

Still, when you first saw my pics of the outcome You were kindness in the extreme.... although I don't get to do as much business with you as I would like, when I am expecting an email from you it colors my day a little bit brighter ...
