Chiappa 1887 28 in barrel ??

Has anyone seen one of these , and better yet has anyone had their hands on one .

Funny you should ask:

Bryan Buck got his 28" Chiappa '87 in on Friday from Cimarron.  You  might give him a call and see what he says.  He was all grins about it.

I bought his 22" Chiappa and shot it in a match yesterday.  The Chiappa '87 is a MUCH better firearm than the Chinese '87's.

What's the skinny on the 28 inch gun and does  it have tubes ? I have a 1878 with 26 in barrels , but it's HEAVY to carry around all day . Now  the 87 would be lighter , and have 3 shots compared to 2 ??? Have it loaded up with Swiss powder and #6 shot that's a Turkeys Nightmare .
