I know this isn't CAS related, but since some of you like 18th century as well as 19th century, I thought I'd post it here.

We're shooting a classic American flintlock longrifle. This is a Pennsylvania rifle with an iron mounted York County style stock, built by Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading, A.K.A. TVM. The rifle is .50 caliber with a straight 7/8th of an inch by 42-inch long barrel.

Michel;  Great video;  I've just sent the link off to a friend who is starting to shoot BP with a flinter.  He purchased his rifle with his retirement gift certificate!  At this point he appears to be the only BP shooter in Williams Lake BC.  If he gets something going I will nominate him for S.H.O.T.S.
