This is kinda fun ;D

There was an article in the SASS Chronicle this month about a Steampunk seminar at the SASS Convention.
I have been thinking about this for quite some time as it gives the "brassers" a legitimate place to play and WHY NOT the Hollywood genre has been openly embraced with the "B Western" already......

I am not finished with this as I am fitting it in between other work but I think you can see it is starting to take shape......

This is a "brasser" ASM with a 2 inch barrel and as a belly gun it has the up close and personal double duty as a club and fighting instrument.

Chambered in 44 Heel base with a BIG 'Ol Flat nose bullet powered by a full case of Black Powder.
It's full size sibling is soon to follow........

This is the "belly gun" version (brass knuckles are in the works).
The full size version will get the other goodies!

The 44 Colt case holds about 24 grains of BP.......
The 44 Remington Percussion Cylinder holds over 30.......

Simple case of math & common sense. Walt Kirst has done his part well and Liability Insurance has muddled the whole thing :-\

It's very strange that no one noticed you slipping away from sanity until it was so advanced.   :D   :D   :D   :D   ;)

Steam Punk?  Reality may be just as far-out as fantasy;

Strange that this steam gun should turn up today.  Just last night my wife and I watched a Brit Mystery called Sally Lockhart: The Shadow In The North" which featured a mythical steam gun and showed it "working" thanks to special effects.
