For 45's I have a Lee universal decapper and I just dump my 45's into the shell hopper and decap and remove each from the press.  Goes real fast.

For 45/70 I took the Lee case length trimmer, removed the cutter and installed a short piece of dowe1.  I put the shell in the shell holder and knock out the primer.  Eventually I'll get another universal decapper for my second press and use that.

Once decapped I throw them into the tumbler with ceramic media.

I deprime and resize cases out of the wash/soak water. then toss them into a ceramic media tumbler.

There is no extra effort involved and my entire case including the primer pocket is clean. I very much prefer priming off the press.

Get a 3/4" board that is about 18" long and 4" or 5" wide. With a large drill bit drill a hole that is 1/2" wide and only drill about halfway through the board. Drill this hole dead center in the board. The take a another drill bit that that is just larger than a primer and in the center of the first hole drill ALL the way through. You can now sit down in a lawn chair outside your house and with a Lee deprimer & a hammer whack away faster than you can imagine. Place a small garbage can between your legs for the primers to fall into from the hole and toss the case into soapy water AFTER depriming.  ;)

This method is fast, cheap & efficient.

I'm lucky enough to live fairly close to the range where our local club shoots. So I just toss the empties into a bag and then wash and throw them into the case cleaner when I get home. Seein' as how I'm retired and not in any hurry I then decap them in the press and they go back into the cleaner as I inspect them for mouth cracks and other problems.

The few times I can shoot away from home I use the same jug with water and a squeeze of dish soap that everyone else uses. It ain't like it's rocket surgery.
