If you have a favorite mess kit feel free to bring it. there will be disposable for those who choose that route. I have a bunch of eatin' iron's I will bring, so those flyin' in never fear, just use mine and save yer weight for other things.

I have 2 large wreak pans that will be there, one filled with hot water and dish soap and the other one with warm water and Cholox for a very safe rinse. My friends in Food Service say this is a proper safe way to handle such and is very safe and never fear, there will be no white plastic bottle seen in camp.

To those who nip a bit, don't drink out of the cooks stone jug, it'll turn yer poop white.

That is correct, Del. I worked in foodservice for some years and washed many a dishes and pans. That's how the Health Dept. instructed us to do it.

I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

Mmmm....Clorox flavored 'taters.  Yum!

Seriously, I know that the Clorox WON'T impart a flavor to the food.  In the 1st Gulf War, most of the time we got bottled water, but sometimes it came out of a water buffalo.  (A 600 gal. tank on wheels)  Boy, you could taste the bleach there!  It was like going to your favorite public pool and drinking the water! :o At least it was safe - even if it was about 90 deg F!

At Fort Kearny the borrow a water buffalo from the National Guard for there busy weekends.  When I was out there they parked it close and well it was a bit dry and you know how cooks are. ::)
