Problem with my Remmie - Lil help please

Hi:
Got a Pietta 1858 that cycles fine for 5 charge hole.
But there's one where when you get there, the revolver won't go to full cock--keeps slipping back to half-cock.
Any ideas?

Check the ratchet teeth.  If everything looks OK and there are no burrs or dirt, given the way the teeth on a Remington are cut into the cylinder you will probably have to shorten the hand a LITTLE.

Try cocking it with the cylinder out and see if see works all the time.
