Disappointed a couple folks last Black Creek shoot 'cuz I had the Buntline's leather on the cart with a 7 1/2" backup in it.

Thinkin' the boy y'all had an issue with Sunday would probably have a hissy-fit if he saw me snatchin' 'n reholsterin' the thing.  It's ugly..........

Lemme git this family thing settled out.  I'm sure we'll be havin' us some laffs 'fore long.  Be the Buntline here at duh beach or up King George.

'Fraid not, Annie. She goes in tomorrow (tomorrow?) Monday at 7:00 AM and they'll induce labor.  Alex is here 'n will be for the duration.  It'll be awhile.  I'm goin' to the office for a few hours for a l'il R&R.  Thanks for askin'.

The dress under the corset was tied high and pinned closed, so none of the brass made me dance around and spout bad words. I didn't have a lot of focus for the match, which showed in my times, but I reckon I had some since I didn't consciously notice the brass coming back at me. I just need to spend more time with the rifle so I stop "soft touching" it. If I flick it right, I should be able to send the brass several feet in the air and not back at my face.

We had a great time. I shot with a bunch of rowdy pards from New England and it was a hoot shooting with them. Saturday morning was a joy and hell all in one. The sun was coming up on our right as we shot, just peeking over the berm. The air was very still. About half our posse was Black Powder Shooters.
Did I mention that the air was still and the sun was dappling rays over the berm?


Lou Graham took one shot at the shotgun targets, which were toward the right (toward the sun) ... and the targets vanished. NO ONE could see them. Twin, who was timing, got down on his hands and knees trying to find the target for her to spot her in to knock it down. It was grand to watch, but it was HELL for Lou.
