What size (451, 452, 454???) balls in 44 for Rogers and Spencer pistols?

Pony Racer--- I've always had good results with .457 round balls in both of my Euroarms Rogers and Spencers.

I'd use at LEAST .454" Pony. The .457" are supposedly for the BIG Ruger Old Army, but a lot of folks have good luck using them in their C&B guns made by Uberti, Pietta, etc.

I measured the chambers of my ASP/Euroarms R&S from 1988: their dia is .449, with a barrel groove dia of .450.
If yours is similar .454 RB should be fine.

.454 worked great for two practice sessions shooting 10 shots 5 per gun twice!

Great trigger pull, and no cap fragment issues.

The guns felt great after what would have amounted to two stages...
