I have so much learning to catch up on here that I am thinking about cheating to get an early start!  If I use APP in the 45-75 I can start loading a few rounds with some of the old bullets I had for a Marlin.  APP does not require anything special in the lube dept. and so small grooves filled with smokeless crayola will actually work better with this self lubricating powder.  This will let me research a bit more before commiting to a bullet supplier.  Whatcha think, make smoke now or wait to do it right?

Do it right?  If you are shooting and making smoke vs. not shooting you are doing it right.

How did the APP work for you .

Everything has been put on hold fer a spell.  Turns out the old box of 45-70 bullets I had were 405gr so will need to order some bullets and just as well find a good one fer real bp!  My Mom is coming to spend a couple of weeks with me so am trying to get the house ready for her, she believes in the old white glove tests!  I do not have a specific bullet selected yet but understand that the 45-75 needs a 350gr RNFP with lots of grease capacity.
