Howdy to the camp!

Been away a long time (until last Sunday), I hadn't shot a match in over 3 years, mostly because of health and economic issues.  I am starting back to CAS on a limited basis since I just moved back home to Northern California.  I did give up Civil War re-enacting after a stroke last summer- my wife said no more running around in wool clothes in 100 degree heat.  I am doing great now, so all is all is well, especially since I have moved back home after a 5 year hiatus.  Since I am Spencerless, though, I'll be shooting a Marlin 44-40.  At the price of even repro Spencers, I do not see one in the future, but I think I have some slugs and plastic spencer blanks kicking around.
