Hello everyone

after asking some advice on lacing this is my finished holster. a big thank you to all that sent there tips much appreciated
i took me a little while to get the lacing right but like one of you said ones you have the rhythm it quite easy

now i know nothing about this style of holster only that it is called a mexican piteado holster, the original photo i was sent had a retaining strap with press stud fastener but the customer wanted this removed
it is made to fit a 4.75" saa, The holster is fastened to the skirt with three copper rivets and fit's onto the standard belt
im not sure what time period it belongs to so if anyone has any info i would be interested in knowing

hope you all like it

many thanks again for the help

The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.

Here is a website featuring piteado;  "Piteado" refers to the embroidery, not holster style.

http://www.piteadofino.com/piteado_fino_081.htm

Look under "cases" and you will see a holster for $135

Also, look at page 130 of PACKING IRON.
