Hi Herbert,

Not sure if this is over any help  ??? ??? but, pulled this off the internet with a reference to Spencer 56-50 & 56-46 reamers . .  .

One of the parameters of this redesign of the 56-46 cartridge was the desire to form the 56-50 Starline cases in one pass through the sizing die without the need for neck reaming or trimming. Dave Kiff of Pacific Tool and Gauge made the reamer on John King's drawings. After lubing the Starline brass with Imperial Sizing Die Wax (now owned by Redding), the cases were formed in one pass through the RCBS sizing dies with minimal effort.

Howdy,
I have successfully cut a 56-50 chamber with a 50-70 reamer by inserting it only part of the way.

Have you tried Clymer Mfg.?  They use to make custom reamers. Haven't checked on them lately, however.

Have tryed the companys mentioned a cople of times but they have not responded,I have been leaning tawards the 56-46 because of available barrels in .458 and a posible improvment in velocity and acuracy, casses could easily be made from 32ga brass shot shells ,I belive, but a 56-50 with a 1 in 36 twist would all so do if I can find a barrel maker in Australia that will make one, seems there is a problem importing any thing gun related from the US these days but chamber reamers are OK
