I have a Winchester 94 in 30-30 that I'd like to use for the Long Range Competition but finding lead round nose (LRN) ammunition is very difficult. Cheaper-Than-Dirt does offer the Ultramax 30-30- cowboy load but so far that's all I've been able to find. This Winchester shoots very (VERY) accurately at both 50 and 100 yards  and although its action is not nearly as smooth as an 1873 or 92, it should get the job done if I can find suitable ammo.

Suggestions?  ::)

May not be quite what you want to hear, but I have had good results with Lasercast's 170gr RNFP over a charge of IMR 3031 for NRA Cowboy Rifle Silhouette and SASS Lever Action Rifle long range side matches.  If you want factory, try Ten-X and PMC. They both used to have it.

If you are loading singly and the rules do not prohibit. I know a guy that shoots lead boat tails in his 38-55. He's a shuetzen competitor. Maybe it will help you since its a low velocity cartridge at extended range?
