Her are some pics of a carbine I'm making from a Pietta pistol and a 31 cal muzzleloader.
Barrel is 28" long.  I had a friend machine the barrel threads for me.
I cut down a 44 cal cylinder and lined it for 32 S&W long.
Has a Kirst konverter ring.  Still needs a lot of work.
I think I'm going to make a longer rammer and get a carbine triggerguard someday.
I apologize for the poor quality of work, but all I have is a hacksaw, file, and a drill press.
Happy New Year everyone!

That is looking GREAT!
It's impressive to say the least but shows what can be done, even with basic tools.

I really like the look with the pistol trigger guard (never even thought about it).
The stock shape and angle also looks better than what Uberti is doing (too much belly) and I bet the LOP is better too.

Very . . . in-T-resting project ya got there.   Thanks for the pix.
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Thanks guys.
Happy New Year!

I'm impressed!  And I suspect that the .32 long could really be an interesting cartridge to play with in a rifle, more useful that just for plinking.  I like the way you think!

¡Holy Frijolies!

Color me impressed!
I saw this in a movie once, and I'm pretty sure I can pull it off...
