Ce holster est un "half - breed", c'est à dire que l'extension du Back Flap de l'étui, permet de servir de fixation au ceinturon
le back flap est réduit au minimum, contrairement à un Mexican Loops.

Quel matériel avez-vous utilisé la ligne de l'étui?

What did you use to line the holster ?  ( for those on this side of the pond )  ;)

Basicly he said

He calls it a "half - breed", the Back Flap is minimal unlike a Mexican Loop.

Or I'm close to his meaning ... :-\

I asked him what that Buttery color liner was ...

Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Major thank you for the translation.  Went to Slye's web site, there is a ton of beautiful work displayed there.

I'm sorry I can't write in French but I can read it fairly well.  I say, continue and we will muddle through!  I think you say that the liner is full thickness calf leather ???

Google translate gave me the answer of - "Full grain cowhide"

Now I see why I got slapped a couple times in Italy using a translation book  ;D

Slye, your English is a lot better than my french and probably about as good as my English, according to my teachers.

I could be wrong         :-\

calfskins is ...."vachette"

According to the translator on google, you are correct.  Also when I put in "vachette" it gave me "calfskin".

What can get you slapped is how the same translator changes things just a smidge, when I put in ""pleine fleur vachette" it gave me, full grain cowhide.  I think I will believe French speaking people over Google...  ;D

Tres bon, Slye. And that is about the extent of my knowledge of the French language! Your grasp of English far out weighs mine of  French! Regardless, beautiful work!
