Some Eye Candy for your enjoyment

Kind of a "fantasy" piece, but felt like it needed some POP to compete with the Colts.........

Here is a list of mods:

Complete removal of markings
Addition of inspector initials
Reshaping of "sail" and slot added for the transitional look
Checkering of hammer and cylinder pin wings
Nickel plated trigger guard
Swiveling lanyard loop
Kirst unported Konvertor ring (again the early or transitional look)
Fluted Kirst cylinder in 44 Colt (THANKS! Jay)
High gloss bluing
Action work

Is that lanyard ring the one Uberti makes for the cartridge Remingtons ? I got one of them from VTI for one of my Webley pistols that was missing the lanyard ring. A really nice ring, ... but kind of big. Since then I found lanyard rings from Numrich Arms that are for a H & R flare pistol and that are a bit smaller. Have used them on some of my '58s.

Yes it was (20 years ago when I bought it)

Personally I don't play into the whole "size doesn't matter thing" I think it is just right......

I wuz happy with that ring for my Webley as I'd searched for years to get one. ( Actual Webley lanyard rings are totaly unobtainable.) But when I needed rings for some of my other pistols I was resistant to the price of that from VTi ( I think mine ran about $ 27.00 ) . I kept searching around and some Webley shooter mentioned the rings from Numrich which are very close to a Webley ring anyhow and are about $ 4.50 ea.

You know the nice thing about the Converted Remington Army's is that they shoot to point of aim with cartridges (Colt's do not).......
