  Hey fella's and gals,

I have just picked up some Kangaroo Lace to lace a 1911 holster I messed up on (messed up on my stitching channel), I am going to lace the holster to hide my mistakes.

Does anyone have any pointers in doing this?  I was messing around with lacing chisels, but that didn't turn out well.  I believe to get the look I want, the lacing chisel marks need to be at an angle.  I could jus punch round holes, but I am using 1/8 flat Natural color kangaroo, so I don't think it would look too professional.

Can anyone help me with this?

Sounds like you may need a 1/8" buckstitch lacing chisel. I've never had lot of luck buckstitching though.
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.

Tandy makes an angle buckstitch chisel....Stolmans' book "How to Make Holsters" has a pretty good section on lacing holsters and the book is dirt cheap too.
