SOOOO, Michael Tatham,  How many are presently signed up for this year's muster?  I need to start a prayer list for travel and safety for us all.  See Y'all there!

LTC Montgomery Little, Senior Chaplain, GAF

I have three or four registrations plus a transfer of funds from the TAPS Encampment to the GAF Muster.
I will do the paper work and file a more complete report tomorrow (Tuesday at the latest).

Filled my entry out today, it will go in the mail tomorrow.  I was wanting to change categories but have run out of time to work out the new loads and sight in.  Going to stick with what I have working for this muster.

My conscience will not allow me to see so many Dept. of the Missouri troops head off to face the hostiles in Kansas without the aid of my repeating rifle.  I can find Garnett, how do I get to camp from there?

Gen'l Hancock said Indians would follow the smell of cigar smoke and look for the fat man. I don't think this will work, though.

I suppose one of the KVC boys will print one of their maps. Or a couple of those longitude and latitude numbers.

But frankly, I wouldn't give those KVC boys too much latitude.
They be tricksters.

Which reminds me, are we going to get the opportunity to bayonet something in one of the scenarios. Just planning on what to bring.

Which one?

Doesn't matter, several fat men with cigars will make more smoke than just one.

I just posted a gun cart for sale in the classifieds.  I mention it because on the off chance anyone is interested, you might be able to convince Pitsptr to bring it along to the Muster.

I regret to advise that it now turns out I am also unable to attend ....   :(

My two year old grandson was taken from Medicine Hat to the Children's Hospital in Calgary yesterday, and last evening was diagnosed with leukemia.  They will be starting him on chemotherapy on Monday.  My wife and I are in Calgary now and for the next several days at least.  Needless to say, I will have other priorities for the foreseeable future.

Please help with your prayers and good wishes.
