The Dragoons are lots of fun.  I have a pair of Uberti Third Models that I shoot frequently at our local SASS matches.  They do get the attention of everyone on the line!  

Did I say that I love to burn lots of powder and make lots of smoke?!  I chose my alias for a good reason.

For my 3rd Mod I use the same load as in my Walkers: 44grs or FFg +wad+.454 ball+over ball lube. I call them my 44-44s. I think if you used FFg you might not get so sharp of a recoil and the rammer may stay up better.
