Folks,
I know a lot of us also make modern gear, so we now have a place to post our modern holsters and gear over at the downrange.tv forum.

It is the sister forum to CASCity, so the format is the same.

Lets keep the cowboy stuff over here, and the modern over there and support both forums.

Here is a link.

Thanks!

One of the best songfests in a Western, INCLUDING, Gene "Artery"! ("Kin ah have anuther stick o' gum, Mr. Artery?")  That sure dates me!  ;)  Too bad they didn't do more. But, of course, it wouldn't have fit in the continuity of the movie.
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Why Outrider, that looks like one of those fancy modern Buskys ole Rick is wearing his gun in!

Guys I may not be very active for a spell but rest assured that I love the idea and will be watching til I can get my ducks in a row.  Just wondering about the Wild Bunch leather we have been nursing for a spell, is now the time to move it to a new home and perhaps just let fokes link from the Cowboy Leather Forum when they have something they want us to see?  Has this been considered yet, thoughts??

Dalton Masterson

I would think it would be welcome at either place. Its kind of the crossover link between cowboy and modern, wouldn't you say. Over there, it might be a bbq rig, but over here the same thing might be Wild Bunch.

We will see where that boat takes us I guess.

It took me FIVE tries to register on the modern leather forum!  DANG!  Is everything modern this hard?

Maybe this should be a sticky.  I had to do a search to find it, and only because I knew it was here.  On the other hand, if it IS a sticky - "never mind".

Massive

I had a look around there the other day, and guess what?  Lots of Western holsters there, but no restrictions about what else you talk about.  Seems like that could pull content over there.

Dalton Masterson

There are restrictions at the modern forum.
Basically, if it can be posted here, it belongs here. If it can't be posted here, it belongs over there. Thats the simplest explanation of the "rules".
Yes, I allow it to be posted, as a lot of the DR.tv members do not come over here, but most of what is posted is definately concealed carry/modern in style.
I usually suggest that western gear posted there should also be posted here at CASCity.
The main purpose of the site is to promote leather for modern guns, not our cowboy guns.
