OK, I'll admit that I haven't posted in awhile either...

But wow, this board has been really slooooooooooooow lately...

I will have to get my Schofield out to the range and take some pix!  Or bend the sight or break the trigger on my Schofield...  Something so that I'd have an occasion to post about my Schofield here.  ;)

Tight groups!

(Assuming of course, you're all still shootin'...)  8)

It's just a busy time of year for many - Fall clean-up, hunting seasons, school activities requiring extra chauffeuring, approaching holiday season - all these, plus increased costs of travel and ammunition to attend shoots can take precedence.

More gets posted after snowfall - when folks are cabin-bound.

I had a great day shooting my Schofield a couple of weeks ago, taking on what someone called "The Campbell's Gang" at my personal shooting range.  I wanted to write about it then, but it seemed kind of boring: "I had a good time shooting."

I have no logical reason for liking that gun so much.  I have other revolvers that surpass my Schofield in nearly any measure of performance, but I just plain like it.

OH, the Schofields are frequently on my mind BUT most thoughts would be retreads of past questions.  Hopefully I will get to post what I'm doing after the first of the year rather than posting what I want to do again.   Sadly I will have to sell one Schofield to finance the project for the other two BUT on the bright side, that one will not work with black powder at all.
