Is it true that when Slim's been bad, Santa doesn't bring him coal, he drops off a box of Velveeta?

:D

AnnieLee
I'd prefer coal. At least I could use it ta heat the house.  >:(

Slim

With all those oils, Velveeta should burn quite nicely.  ;D :D ;D :D

I was at one a total of 31 days so far this year, most of the time I got nothing to eat, a few days "Clear Liquid" a couple "Soft", don't know if they got any good food, they never offer it to me.

Delmonico puts on his boots and coat and walks to the store.  On his return he has a loaf of "sliced" white bread, a tub of spreadable margerine, a block of Velveta and a can of Spam.  He makes a samwhich and microwaves it just for Slim. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Why would anyone ever ruin good can of SPAM by putting Velvetta on it?

hiwians love spam. eat more of it than any place in the world. during ww2 it was about the only meat they got.
Not a pimp, not a pistol fighter, not a coca-cola soak, just an old man trying desperatly to get older.

Russ T.  Spam complains too much if you try to can it before it's dead.....When I guided I always carried a can in my saddle bags

Me self, if'n I resort to canned meat it's either my home canned or it a tin of corned beef.  Besides, the canned beef is period correct, even if it sometimes had problems, like improper canning.  The fact a bunch got left on the dock in Havanna in the sun for weeks, might be why it came to be known as embalmed beef, cause it was said to have killed more American soldiers that Spanish bullets. :o

Bully Beef??????? My Mom used to do a little trick with Spam that actually made it pretty palatable. She'd make a syrup out of brown sugar and water with some whole cloves mixed in, then brown/glaze it in it after cutting the chunk into slices. Also, the newer turkey Spam tastes pretty good right out of the can. Of course, that's just my opinion..............Buck 8) ;)

It's Velvetta that scares me, I think it was Trinty who said something about it burning.....Cheese whiz sounds more palatable....At least it's got cheese in it's name.
