Here it is Outrider.. I can sew 13 mm (½inch)  with it, just want to use it to stitch the lining on the belts to save some time..
Was looking on a Juki 441, but I have to rob a bank for it, just $ 11195 for it  :-X

Bob,

That sure is some machine.  We call that part a bobbin case.  The older "shuttles" looked like a small torpedo with pointed ends

I found an old parts list for that machine on the Singer web site...it appears to have been made in the late 1920's early 1930's...

From what I am seeing (vintage sewing machine parts search) I think the bobbin case and oscellator from the class 15 Singers will also fit the Class 132 machines

What I have done with my Singers is buy whole machines off ebay, and then  ask the person to strip them and send me all the parts but the heavy bits.  I did this with a guy in Oregon who it turned out was a mechanic.  At the time all I wanted was the drive Wheel for treadle use, but he stripped every part and sent them to me in Canada.  I paid about 20 for the machine, and 20 for the postage.

I see your machine cost like 900 on ebay, so if that is the case, not very attractive.  But if there are parts in common with the 15s, you might manage.

Will a 132k6 machine work?  Is this the stuff you need?  Even so you could ask him what he has or where he got it.

This is a 15 class machine part,

Remember that anyone selling anything related on ebay is someone you can contact.

For machines in this class, my favourite place on the web is the  Honourable Cordwainer's Company amd the Crispin Colloquy.  Their forum has a ton of good info on shoe class machines.  They also have the dearly beloved sewing machine providers who are super on service, though I forget the actual person, so I will leave ferreting it out of that forum to you.  A somewhat roundabout place.  And I don't see a reference to 132s. But a good place for machine problems.

Old Singers are very high quality, which means: 1)  It is possible the part can be rebuilt.  2)  Don't throw it out, part it out.

I always find old singers at antique shops,i know they ar not for leather work, but ya never know.Deos it have to be a leather machine or are the interchangable with the home models..?
Bunch a ole scudders!

Boothill Bob

Thanx Massive, I will look it up.
GCR, I dont know if its interchangable, if so it will be easy
to find a vinning case. I dont know who to ask about that.

Bob,

Here is another website for you to try for those parts

www.seweurope.co.uk

They list parts for the 132/K5 so maybe they have some for the K2

It seemed every time I looked up a new parts list for those machines it was in the UK, and not over here.  So maybe they were made there.

I found this link doing some other searching might be worth a try.
