Very neat!

Why not just power the rear wheels? I'm sure you have a reason................deep sand?

Thanks!! The rubber tractor type tires on the rear are the drive wheels. The wagon wheels on the front are for steering only. The wagon wheels on the back float on the ground and are for looks.  They cover the rubber tractor drive tires.  Hope I explained that!!!!!

How about a gas buggy!  Converted from a riding mower for Gary Kangas (The Gray Fox SASS #223).  My son is the passenger.

I don't have access to it just now, but I believe that Gary PORTEE's it to the range in the back of a 3/4 ton pickmeup kinda truck.  My guess is that the maker took a standard riding mower, and worked pragmatically to create a loose rendition of a VERY early motor vehicle.
