Well, 'Occupy Poteet' didn't work out. Someone offered our protester a 6-pack to mow their yard so he decided to rejoin the mainstream work force.

It must have been Lone Star longnecks.
I will no longer respond to the rants of the small minded that want to sling mud rather than discuss in an adult manner.

If'n your talkin' about Poteet, Texas;  I was in the Navy with a feller from there!  I was rememberin our bouts of drinkin and womanizin, just the other day.  Wonder whatever happened to him?

Just a secondary remembrance, Poteet was supposedly named after the character in the Steve Canyon comic strip, or the character was named after the town.  True or not I don't know.

Oddly Poteet, the City, was named after the first Post Master. Poteet Canyon was named after the town.
