The Arapaho Kid

The "You can call me Ray" routine was started by a comedian by the name of Bill Saluga.  In this routine he was Raymond J. Johnson. and the basic routine was like this:

Ahh, ya doesn't has to call me Johnson! You can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me Johnny or you can call me Sonny, or you can call me RayJay, or you can call me RJ... but ya doesn't hafta call me Johnson.

He appeared on stage in a 40's style zoot suit and after the introduction, he'd launch into that routine.  It was quite hilarious!

The Arapaho Kid

And...as memory serves...he had a voice quality that sort of hit your nerve center like a rasp!  Kind of high pitched and nasal...not your typical male voice.

Four-Eyed Buck

Maybe a little New York in it. Believe he was part of the Laugh-in cast or maybe The Smothers Brothers........Buck 8) ::) ;)
