I've been away from this forum too long. David, sorry to hear about the health challenge, but grateful for the good reports.

I serve a praying church so 'll be praying and also will send your name & facts ourt to our online prayer support.

We serve a God who cares, and He cares about you David.

David is well remembered in prayers by all his friends and customers.

Like David will, I beat cancer last year, undergoing two months of radiation therapy. I'm in remission to date and regard my self as a walking miracle. The prayer support of many was instrumental in my healing and faith.

In many ways, I'm grateful for the experience. EVERYTHING is new and good to me now! My wife, the sunrise, the moon light, the moose grazing across the lake I see morning and evening, the smell of the leaves and the fine buck I was blessed with recently.
Too many blessings to count, and I simply don't have time for the bullshit anymore. My priorities got a reshuffling.

"If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And if the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know that I need to change something.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know, what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

My best friend of 35 years just passed a month ago from cancer. They gave him three years, he lasted four. He never gave up, kept his sense of humor and did all he could to make sure his wife was cared for. A week before he passed he told his wife, Heather, "It is what it is, I've had a good life. Never give up." That was my friend, Carl R. Stroup. Hang in there, Dave, don't give up, never quit fighting.

Thanks to everyone once again for your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement! I recently rented some leather gear to a movie, they also wanted several new belts and holsters. I found out today that some of them were featured in a scene in a general store. The main characters come in to purchase firearms and gunleather, something that isn't shown enough in my opinion! On November 18, I will receive my bone marrow transplant, another step in the healing and curing process. Can't wait to get back to work. I can't remember who said it, but it's something like this: "A man who can make a living doing what he enjoys, is a lucky man."
Thanks!
David

Keep your faith in Him, no matter what comes your way.  The quality of our relationship with the Father really only shows when everything is goin' bad.  Those who don't really know God blame Him when things go wrong.  Those who have a personal relationship cling all the tighter.  Hang on.

David - we're all thinking of you and remembering you in our prayers.  Just remember you have a lot of folks pulling for you.  Keep your faith and trust in Him  . . . . we're all doing plenty of talking to Him on your behalf.

Will - wiser words were never spoken. . . . . .sometimes we all need to be reminded of that.

David: Have you in my thoughts. Have one of your wallets in my goodie stash! I'm staring at back surgery shortly, but that scarcely rates next to a bone marrow transplant. Hope it all goes extremely well!
