Howdy to ya'll,

I'm having difficulty locating any input on the available 12 ga. lever action shotguns, including opinions and availability of them.
I think the Winchester only comes in a 410 ga., but understand that IAC and Norinco are suppose to have them.  Lord only knows if/when they'll be available in my new homestead area here in TN, but I hold out hope.  Don't know whether or not I'll be
able to work one into my budget, if & when I find one, but will cross that river when I come to it.  Not being able to compete anymore, it would be a frivilous purchase, but I sure do have an itch for one.  Any input?

Will Ketchum

Marshal, Coyote Cap is heavily involved with manufacturing and importing of the Chinese copy of the 87.  They are not available just yet but should be soon.  The first ones are already spoken for but it shouldn't be too long before they will be on dealers shelves.

Many thanks Will.

If you get any further word on them, please toss a few stones my way & get my attention.

Here's what Coyote Cap is working on to get to us by the fall:

I've got #218 spoken for.  Hopefully, it'll be here beofre I retire!! :)

Do you know the price of them yet?  I'm hoping I can work the cost into my feeble budget, if & when I have access to one.

Hope yours comes through in a timely manner, and you're able to enjoy it for a long time to come afterward.

Are you referring to retiring from your modern world job, or (Lord forbid) from CAS?  I'm thinking & hoping it's the daytime work place.  Whatever the case, I wish you the best in it.

Cap's price is in the mid $500 range and that includes his action job and a full set of choke tubes for it.  As for my retiring, I'm only 40.  I have a long way to go.  I was refering to the inevitable delays new guns suffer through getting to market.  When these guns were first announced, they were promoised by last summer, then fall, then end of the year.  Now, the first 200 are supposed to be here in June.  Mine should get to me in August......unless there are more delays.  I'll be happy if I get in in hand by year's end.

Thanks for all the input Irish Red O'Toole & Will Ketchum.  Believe it or not, I called Curly Bill today and discussed the situation, and
ended up ordering one for myself after all.  I'm mailing my deposit
check to him in the morning.

It's going to play havoc on my pitiful budget, but will be worth it.
I need to locate a good FFL dealer in the area to facilitate delivery, whenever that may be, but will work it out.  I managed to get in on the initial order group, though have over 700 pards ahead of me on the list.

God bless all of you & yours.
