Was up to see Del this afternoon. He is doing good, enjoying his time at the resort spa.
Printed off all your posts for him. After a good laugh, he siad something about Forty and having to slap him with a died fish, then laughed some more.


He wanted me to thank everyone for there thoughts and prays.

Thinks he will be back sometime next week.

He called me this afternoon, but had to cut it short because of a problem with one of his I.V.'s. Surgery tomorrow , folks, so let's keep him in our prayers...............Buck

Just got off the phone with Del. He got through his surgery okay and has already done several laps in the hall. They moved him to another room( private) and he's waiting for the rest of his stuff to be moved down to where he is now. The nurses on his old floor said they wanted his quilts, so he's wondering if he's gonna get them back. Said he might have to go after them!
They found just exactly what he's been telling them for months was wrong. Said he hopes he's got a doctor that will listen to him this time........Buck

Talked to Del Monday evening. He sounded chipper, happy to have it done and vindicated when the surgeon confirmed what Del and his doc knew. He's hoping to be sent home tonight or Wednesday.
