Probably in more ways than one!  ;D

I have returned from my trip and reassume my duties.  Many thanks to Col Pitspitr for assuming temporary command in my absence.

I spent most of my time on a cruise in the Inside (Inland) Passage of Alaska, sailing from Seattle to Skagway and return.  Found no gold but did observe some black bear feasting on salmon, harbor seals, and the back of a single whale.  Enjoyed renewing my acquaintance with Seattle where I attended college, and visiting the historical, if heavily commercialized, areas of Ketchikan and Skagway.

Many thanks to Col Pitspitr for assuming temporary command in my absence.

It was my honor and my pleasure. The general has the command running so efficiently that it practically ran itself.

I hope you had to oppertunity to enjoy some good Pacific Northwet seafood!

More like everyone was too terrified of your vengeful wrath to make any trouble!

Yes, I did have some good seafood; crab in Seattle and halibut in Skagway, not to mention salmon just about everywhere.  I love fresh halibut so enjoy having it when I'm out that way.

I trust Lt Col Drydock did not suffer too badly by his enforced abstinance from the whiskey cabinet, and that he did not abuse his privildeges to the rum locker?

Most if not almost, I was just too busy at work and home. ;)

Delmonico! I aught to clap you in irons for that or at least have you ride the wooden horse. How dare you let him know I was sleeping on the job....Oh wait, he was gone two weeks. I had to sleep sometime in there.  ;D Guess this is worth at least another year on KP

You're allowed to sleep: the regulations allow an average of 1 hour per day.

I'm happy to observe that you weren't too stressed out to enjoy your authorized sleep time.

You should see the one's of River City John, oh wait, I sent you a CD of pictures. ;D

Be it duly noted that I have a very nice gift for him I found while moving to help ease the pain of the picture. ;D
