First couple years, I never remember having a clean match.  Then I finally broke through a few years ago at local matches.  I've been fortunate to even cleaned a couple of 10 stage matches, but that is much harder.
Now I have clean matches fairly often (maybe 20 - 25 % of the time), but I don't worry about it if I have a miss once in a while to know I'm trying.

Calamity Jane

I make sure I throw in a miss on the first stage soz I don't haffta worry about it  ;D

Bushwack Bill

The last time I had a clean match I did it with a pair of Colt Firs Model Dragoons, a Henry, and a Rossi 12 Ga SxS.

I was right proud of myself.  Got a standing ovation and a slap on the back.  Haven't been abl;e to do it since.

Pukin Dog

I've had one in about 25 tries.  I'm usually glad when I miss one however as the pressure is gone then and I enjoy myself more ;D

"Fraid if I ever do, I wont go back. ;D  Been doing this for about 10 years now, and continue to start each match "clean", but something seems to always go wrong somewhere before the final shot.  Think I've had three matches with only one miss, but still lookin' for the "clean one" shooting Senior Duelist.  Wish this game had been around when I was young with reflexes,  joints that didn't squeak, and "Arthur" hadn't taken control of my right trigger finger.  Gotta keep tryin, tho, or that Dillon won't feel needed.

Mustang Gregg

My very 1st SASS match was clean (recollect the 2nd match was too).  But they were 60 seconds to 80 seconds per stage.
Then I started to hurry my shootin' & reckonin' a few misses bein' fine as long as I sped it up.  Funny---all them misses were wit' a Stoeger SxS.  HOW????
Ain't shot a clean match in a coupla years.  :-[

Reckon it might be my near-vision is a little whacked these days (????).

Shot one my second year out, but... ...the person they handed the timer to, on the last stage, did not know how to work the timer. The Posse Marshal gave me a re-shoot, but I was so flusttered, that I missed loading one of my pistols. Oh well, stuff happens. Least I know I am capable of shooting a clean one.

Took me almost two years ta git my first clean match, then Tensleep told me it didn't count cause it wasn't an O Fish All  match and he wasn't gona score it(durn ol pole cat >:().  Well I fixed him.  I called him out at our next O Fish ALL match.  Not only did I shoot it clean but I whooped his butt too ;D(course he was shootin his leftover irons, his good ones where still in Oklahoma).  Since then(that was May 05)  I have shot one other clean match, last month at Black Creek. :)

Marshal Halloway

Marshal'ette has asked me all day how many matches I have shot clean and when and where.

I do believe I have shot two matches clean, but I cannot remember when and where. Well, that proves that I was so surprised and shocked at myself that my brain short circuited and the details became blurry.

What I do know and remember is that when I miss, I miss darned fast.

My best matches has been with 3-4 misses, which I consider pretty good to say so myself.
