Some miscellaneous pictures I took at Camp Pitspiter.

Note, the thermometer was out in the sun in my cooking area:

I will look over my pictures and see if I can come up with some more worth posting when I get a little time.

Delmonico, thanks for sharing these.  Looks like a really great place for an event ... other than the thermometer. I am one of those folks that thinks it is hot at 80 degrees.

It really wasn't that bad up on the hill, I had another one under the awning and never saw it above 85.  Down where they were shooting in the canyon it was hotter.  Sat when I took those pictures it was 85 on the hill but showed 95 in town down in the valley.

well guess I could call that tolerable.  Shoots where you are standing on a bed of snow are more too my liking. It must be a hold over from my youth being born in Oregon and living in Colorado and Montana.

That is one great picture.

In fact it would make a great cover shot if it were not for that blamed tuck in the back ground.

That was a nice morning to sit in front of the tent.

I've up-loaded some more pictures to my photo-bucket account.

Breakfast Friday morning:

A shot to the east through camp Saturday morning, it looks like the pyromaniac cook has the fire built up:

A couple more shots of the flag and pole:

Saturday at noon:

Paul said that last year all the shots I had of him he was eating, well he also has an adult beverage and a cigar now and then:

(Paul I've got some others of you when I get them up-loaded.)

Saturday when every one was down shooting in the canyon I kept hearing this creaking noise, kind of like the windmill in the beginning of  “Once Upon a Time In the West.”  Well I tracked it down, it was not a windmill but John's lantern:

More to come as I have time, Rita is asleep so she won't sent me on to another task in the new barracks till morning.

At least it's my white pick-up, when I get some more time I think my photo program can hide it deeper in the fog.  Got plans on doing that when I get a bit of time. ;)
