How has the weather situation around there affected the Convention, if at all?  Not excited about future forecast of snow for the area either. You folks sure don't need that now.

Cliff Fendley

Typical Kentucky weather, nothing new around here.

There weather could be just about anything in the Ohio Valley. It was 70 degrees a couple of days ago and snow is preidicted for tonight.

I want that snow to be gone by the 15th of March when I get to Louisville. I don't like snow. I am spoiled, living here in the D/FW area, we just don't have that much snow. I had all the snow I wanted to see, growing up in the Texas Panhandle. We had a blizzard in 57 where we had snow drifts over 8 feet tall. The blizzard in 64 was a little milder, we only had 6 ft. drifts.

Snow is unlikely around here in mid-March but it has happened. So far, we are having a very mild winter this year. Snow has barely covered the ground only twice and it was gone in a day.

Sorry about Work-n-Ranch having a death in the family, but I for one will miss them as I was planning on spending lots of money since Kay and I have lost about 90# between the 2 of us.

I hadn't heard of W'n'R before.  Thanks to you, Joe, I found their online site.  It IS a shame they won't be there!  They have good, moderately priced items and more colors (of some items like bandanas) than I've ever seen.  I DO wish they'd call bandanas by their proper name, not Wild Rags, which is totally modern.

Nice folks - I'm sorry they won't be able to attend.

I just got off the phone with the scrimshaw artist.  He will be at the Convention and will be doing work at his booth throughout the show.  John bring the records and you can call out the dances.  See you all next week.    JIM
