I don't remember exactly when Smith recently made the Schofields.  But does anyone know what those guns are now going for and how many were produced?

Galloway

I believe around 9000 from 1875-77

St. George

I do believe the question addresses the modern-made 'Performance Center' revolvers.

Here's what's known.

The Performance Center Schofield 2000 was first introduced introduced at the January 2000 SHOT Show - though I saw more advance information in European gun magazines at that time.

From 2000-2002 - 7" barrel - Blue - 2600

Wells Fargo Express - 5" barrel - 200 - production split between Blue and Nickel.

150th Anniversary - Gold highlighted -  7" barrel were also made in 2002 - 151.

Total - 2951.

The first production revolvers came in Oak casings and featured a wealth of printed material as well as a 'coin', while later production was shipped in Gold cardboard to attempt to keep costs down.

There aren't all that many of them, so prices are pushing $2000 or so - and they'll rise for collectors, though they're good shooters as well.
