Slowhand Bob

Guys, I think the current interest we are seeing is evidence that the most popular gear needs right now are related to the Wild Bunch growth in SASS.  Now might be a good time for a sampling of our makers WB offerings again, holsters, mag pouches and related items.  I love to see you guys show off your new artistic endeavers, post some Wild bunch photos for me to see, pretty please.

Ten Wolves Fiveshooter

Howdy Bob, great idea, and good post, a nice gathering of Wild Bunch rigs would be a great addition to our forum, I'll start by showing my rig, it's a Frazier #9 with three mag pouches, Marshal Will gave be a hand with this rig, I had admired his rendition of the Frazier #9, and wanted to make one for myself, and I'm very happy with how it  came out and works as a holster and Magazine combo.

Outrider, I received the pictures and think these will be popular amongst the competitive shooters.  Please show us some of your popular styles to go along with the current spike in WB popularity.  Ten Wolves, a very attractive full rig and ready to handle as many reloads asanyone will throw your way!  Hope we see some more, I really like seeing attractive leather projects.

Here's a few different things. I did not build the top holster; it's a 40 year old Bianchi. I tired to match the stamping and color on the belt. I've yet to figure out a way to stamp the mag pouches while using the mold that I have.

I built the middle holster plus the drop piece (I like to wear holsters rather low). The bottom black holster was made to match someone's SSA Buscadero rig. I made all the mag holders.

OK, here's the one I use, which is basically a Frazier No 9 without a retainer strap. It works just fine. No amount of running around will drop a pistol but it comes out very fast when you want it. I wear it on a Mills style prairie conversion belt for the shotgun rounds.

Here is my contribution. The holster is metallined so its stays out from the body for a quick draw.

Attached is a picture of a Holster KT made for my 1911. It's a real work of art!

Also attached is a Holster I  made for my 1911 using a pattern that Ten Wolves gave me. It was a perfect fit.

I should have mentioned that my holsters are based on patterns Outrider sent me, for which I am grateful!

Dave, I'm with you on this one my friend and I did try to find the last post with all the pictures but the new puter thing is at war with me and the Forum.  I have not made anything in the shop in months now,  when I retired from my day job the plan was to spend more time with leather BUT it has turned out to be just the opposite.  I always recommend this site when anyone asks for leather and I know the talent is here to accommodate the most demanding needs, at any level.

JD, I think your drop style rig looks great and is a neat design.  I love your pouch pattern, do they have any type of internal dividers?  The Buscadero rig idea for WB has gotten my attention and I think I will try to do one myself, next time.

and a few more

Outrider,
The dark brown holster you posted on here is exactly what I am looking for is this your pattern?

Yup   all mine...if you look closely  all of these holsters are basically the same with the exception of the throat of the pouch...one is arced and the other is an "s" pattern....the one with the concho is the same as the "S" throat with a concho added to the retaining strap.  There are endless ways to change the holster just by adding different designs to the retaining strap

If possible I'd love to get a copy of that pattern?
