I shut have a look-see on this forum more often.

I got me a real "old west" revolver earlier this year.   Forehand & Wadsworth "British Bull-Dog" in .44 with about 90% of the original nickle finish remaining.   Got to shoot a few round recently.   Shortened .44 special cases that I'd sized in a .38-40 sizing die.  Have a set of .44 mag / .44 special dies coming that will let me use the .44 special brass full length.  Was loading with black + a soft round ball.  Will try some hollow based soft connicals that I have when I load more.

See it in the pic on the upper right at www.drburkholter.com/cf6.html  :)

A fun little "real old west shootin' iron"   :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Congratulations!

I have a number of them, and if they have a weakness, it'll be in the trigger return spring.

I understand that Wolff addresses these springs, but I have no first-hand experience.

Vaya,
